We’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday the GORUCK way: with a heaping helping of Good Livin’! 

Welcome to the Freedom Mile. Participants will choose a weight that challenges them (60, 80, or 100 lbs) and carry it for 1 mile as fast as they can in addition to their ruck. This can be scaled based on the participant’s age and physical ability.

Participants are encouraged to consume 4 x 12 oz. beers (or their choice of non-alcoholic beverages) during the event. Four laps, four beers, best time wins!

Features
Chug a beer, then do a 1/4 mile lap. NA Beer is just fine. So is seltzer water, but we don’t recommend that at all.  Do this 4 times total. Don’t pace yourself.
